Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: For the acoustic study of the QA stress system, participants produced the target words in a carrier phrase. Then, target words were extracted into separate files and analyzed acoustically. For the familiarity study, the stimuli were produced by a 66-year-old native Qassimi Arabic speakers. Then Qualtrics surveys were created where participants listened to the target words and rated them on a 7-point scale on how familiar they were with the words/how likely they would be to produce them. 2.
